When Will the 22nd Installment Be Released?
Based on previous trends, the Government of India typically releases the Period 3 (Dec-Mar) installment in late February. For instance, the 19th installment was released on February 24, 2025. Therefore, farmers can expect the 22nd installment between February 20, 2026, and February 28, 2026. The exact date will be announced officially by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare closer to the time.
Eligibility & eKYC Requirements
To receive the ₹2,000 payment without interruption, farmers must ensure the following three criteria are met:
- Land Seeding: Your land records must be verified and seeded in the PM Kisan portal.
- eKYC: Mandatory eKYC must be completed (OTP-based or Biometric).
- Aadhaar Linking: Bank accounts must be linked with Aadhaar and enabled for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
How to Check PM Kisan Beneficiary Status
Farmers can verify if they are on the list for the 22nd installment by following these steps:
- Visit the official portal at pmkisan.gov.in.
- Navigate to the ‘Know Your Status’ section under the Farmers Corner.
- Enter your Registration Number and the Captcha code.
- Click on ‘Get OTP’ and enter the code sent to your registered mobile.
- Your status, including eKYC, Land Seeding, and Payment eligibility, will be displayed.
If your status shows “FTO Processed – No” closer to the date, ensure all your KYC details are updated immediately.
