How to Apply for RTPS Bihar Certificates Online

Follow these steps to apply for various certificates through the RTPS Bihar online portal:

1. Visit the Official Portal: Go to the official RTPS Bihar website: serviceonline.bihar.gov.in.
2. Register Yourself: If you are a new user, click on “Register Yourself” in the Citizen section and create a Login ID and Password using your mobile number and/or email ID.
3. Login: Log in to the portal using your registered credentials.
4. Select Service: From the homepage, navigate to “RTPS Services” or “Apply for Service” and choose the desired certificate (e.g., Residential Certificate, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate).
5. Fill Application Form: Carefully fill out the online application form with all the required details.
6. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of the necessary documents, including a passport-sized photograph.
7. Identity Verification: Complete Aadhaar authentication via OTP sent to your Aadhaar-registered mobile number if required, or upload one of the 12 accepted identity proofs.
8. Submit Application: Review your application details and submit the form. Save the acknowledgement slip for future reference.
9. Track Status: You can track the status of your application online by visiting the “Track Application Status” section on the portal and entering your application reference number.
10. Download Certificate: Once approved, you can download your certificate from the “Download Certificate” section on the portal or via DigiLocker, email, or SMS link.
