Assistance Details
The financial aid depends on the percentage of crop damage assessed by the department:
- Up to 20% Damage: ₹7,500 per hectare.
- More than 20% Damage: ₹10,000 per hectare.
- Note: Assistance is payable for a maximum of 2 hectares per farmer.
Eligibility Criteria
- Residency: Applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
- Farmer Category: Both Ryot (Landowners) and Non-Ryot (Sharecroppers/Tenants) are eligible.
- Registration: Must be registered on the DBT Agriculture Department portal.
- No Premium: Farmers do not need to pay any insurance premium.

- Click on “Login” using your Mobile Number and Password. If new, use “Get Password” with your DBT Agriculture Registration Number.
- Fill in the required details (Personal, Crop, Land).
- Upload scanned copies of the required documents.
- Submit the application and print the acknowledgment.
