Step-by-Step Registration Process (Online)
Follow these steps strictly to apply for an ID. Incorrect role selection leads to rejection.
- Visit the Portal: Go to beneficiary.nha.gov.in and click on the “Operator” tab.
- Sign Up: Click on “Sign Up”. Enter your Aadhaar Number and verify via OTP.
- Fill Details: Your personal details (Name, Age, Address) will auto-populate from Aadhaar. Enter your Email and verify it.
- Add Role (Crucial Step): You must add a role to your profile. Use the following configuration for general requests (varies by state):
Parent Entity: SHA of Your State (e.g., SHA Uttar Pradesh)
Entity Type: Card Creation Agency
Entity Name: CSC (if VLE) or Gram Panchayat/Ward (if direct)

Application: BIS - Submit: Upload your photo and click submit. You will receive a User ID.
How to Get Approval?
After registration, your status will show as “Pending”. This is normal. To get it approved:
- For CSC VLEs: Ensure your CSC ID is correctly mapped. The approval usually comes from the CSC District Manager (DM).
- For Independent Operators: You must contact your District Program Coordinator (DPC) or the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at the District Hospital with your Aadhaar and Police Verification report to request approval.
